Marcus Bisson is a registered specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the NZ Medical Council. Marcus also holds a UK CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Plastic Surgery.

Dr Fiona Smithers
Associate
MBChB, FRACS
Dr Fiona Smithers, from Northern Ireland, graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2002. She moved to New Zealand in 2003 and subsequently trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Hamilton, Wellington and Auckland.

Dr Heather Greig
Associate
MBChB FRACS (plast)
Dr Heather Greig is originally from Scotland, but moved to New Zealand in 2009. She earned her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery qualification through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, which was completed in 2016. She followed her passions furthering her education with fellowships in cosmetic and breast surgery in Vancouver, Canada and also hand, wrist and peripheral nerve surgery in Sydney. She is a mother and enjoys craftwork, baking, cycling and running.

Cathi Davey
Practice Manager to Dr Marcus Bisson
Cathi has been nursing since 1979 having trained at Palmerston North. She has had a wide range of experience working in the fields of orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, recovery and nursing management positions.
Cathi became a plastic surgery specialist practice manager in 1999 and has worked for 7 plastic surgeons over the last 24 years. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, she is the cement that holds our practice together. She excels in delivering the patient focussed care the practice prides itself on.
She is married with three children and is involved with Triathlon NZ and is a World Triathlon technical official, overseeing meetings both in New Zealand and internationally.
Sandra Hogarth
Practice Manager to Drs Fiona Smithers and Heather Greig
Sandra looks after the practices of Dr Heather Greig and Dr Fiona Smithers and is focussed on providing our clients with the best experience in their health journey.
She brings to our team a wide experience in health service delivery, training, and administration management and coordination, having spent close to two decades across roles in Allied Health within both Australia and New Zealand in community and hospital settings.
She has lived in Wellington with her husband since returning to New Zealand in 2004 and has two adult daughters. She enjoys home renovation, gardening, and sharing the delights of the Wellington region with family and friends.
Nursing Team
Anita Lines
Anita began nursing in 2014 after training at Massey University, Wellington. Her career commenced in the Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit at Hutt Hospital which has led to a passion in this field. She began her role as a Practice Nurse for Bisson Plastic Surgery in 2022.
Anita is married with two young children. She enjoys spending her spare time with them exploring the outdoors.
Paris Bullock
I graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from Massey University in Wellington in 2012. I gained valuable experience working for several years in a general surgical ward.
Having a love for travel, I moved to London for a few years. Here I predominately worked in the Dermatology space.
I moved home in 2020 to be close to family.
With a diverse background, my focus and passion are within the surgical realm, particularly in plastic surgery. Over the years this has been in both private and public healthcare sectors.
Jessica Gwyn
I completed my Bachelor of Nursing degree from UCOL in 2016. Completed a post graduate certificate in 2017. I have worked in 3 cities over the past 9 years with experience in theatre, outpatients, surgical wards, and intensive care. My specialty experience has mostly encompassed general surgery, ear nose and throat, vascular, urology, maxillofacial and many years in Plastics Surgery.
I got married in 2021 and we had our first child in 2022. From 2022 till the beginning of 2024, I took time off work to start my family. Our favourite family activity is going for bike rides, and we love anything outdoors.
